Wow. Barely a month (8/20) after they “officially” announced he’d been given the job. What in the world are they going to do now? WWL, WGNO and Fox 8 (especially) all aired the story. Fox 8 also plastered it on Facebook at least 4 times today. The local paper picked it up. I don’t think he can come back from this. They’re going to have to move on. Derek did the evening weather tonight. Don’t see him getting it permanently tho. Soooooo … a newcomer? Margaret has been doing political endorsements for Helena Moreno, so she can’t really come back to temporarily fill in … at least until after the election, if she even wants to. Damon left after they hosed him. WDSU is in a pickle.
