Ms. Fox will anchor weekend nights on WTTG. She made her own hype video.
People like her make a compelling case for an outright ban on TikTok.

And to let you all know who are fans of KDKA TV. This morning they were in the new remodeled news room for this story. Could KDKA be next? https://youtu.be/jMWLFdxQALA
Just a quick adjunct to this -- but do they not have prompters in that newsroom? The dude's reading a story off his phone like he's in the field. Bad look all around.- 2

Pat Collins, whom I suppose is the only NBC DC buyout, signed off tonight:
Doreen Gentzler was another one.

What a dumb move it was canning Susan Koeppen.
Agreed. How Kristine Sorenson was ever promoted to a weekday anchor job, and still has it nearly 20 years later is beyond me.- 3

Missed opportunity to promote Sosna. He's solid at what he does.

Not bad for someone who (just 4 years ago) was on WJAC with a not so certain future. I'm so happy for Mary. https://twitter.com/MaryOursWX/status/1528003287127040000?t=TbBY97KZyQt7nFR4jAfqMw&s=19
She had such potential, but she seems to put more effort into being a clown on TikTok. And what does it say about CBS that they are importing their Philadelphia weather forecasts from Pittsburgh?- 3

WTTG FOX 5 is now running spots announcing morning meteorologist Mike Thomas is moving to nights to replace the retiring Sue Palka starting March 24th.

It was taken down due to KDKA-TV not having legal use to Brian Lee due to Lee having a contract with WPXI-TV. They couldn't use Kamer either due to WCAU.
The KDKA/KYW hybrid thing was a result of CBS forcing their O&Os to come up with redundancy plans after the COVID-19 outbreak at CBS News/WCBS HQ in NY. Of course, it forced other stations to pick up the slack last minute (Boston covering for NY, etc.) I doubt any of these will really ever see the light of day, but who knows?

WTTG // DC and Fox DC Bureau is where she is..
WTTG and the Fox DC bureau are separate entities. WTTG is in Bethesda, MD, about 8-9 miles from the Fox DC bureau on N Capitol Street (where NBC and others have their DC operations as well.)

More than likely just because it was such a busy news day in NY.
CBS had golf coverage on this afternoon...that's why.

What's up, Ivory Hecker?
Teaming up with Project Veritas and RT'ed by the right-wing "Breaking911" Twitter account?
Seems legit.- 2

Imagine being one of the many reporters who were offered weeklong tryouts for the spot on Get Up and getting slapped in the face like this. Really poor news leadership over there. Absolutely pathetic. You’re absolutely right. There’s little doubt they were going to go after another anchor in the market, so to string their existing talent along is pretty low.

Congrats to Allison! FTVLive had a similar "exclusive" scoop a few days back about her. I don't think anyone can be surprised by this. She joins Tony Perkins and Annie Yu, among others, who've also switched to WUSA from Fox 5. All eyes on Shawn Yancy now with regards to her next move or if she ultimately chooses to move away from television.
Imagine being a reporter or working behind the scenes at WUSA. The bosses have now paid money to lure 3 primary anchors away from WTTG and yet, they’re still in 4th place. And still, everyone’s being asked to shoulder the load of corporate pain, taking unpaid furloughs, etc.

Where’d you get this info from? His tweet clearly say he’s joining WNBC, not freelancing. And I’ve seen nothing that says it will only be reporting, and not anchoring too.
Deep sources. And just because someone is joining does meant they are automatIcally staff off the bat. Trust me on this.- 1

FYI. Phil will be freelance reporting. Not anchoring.

Medgie seems like a "last resort" type. Right place at the right time and not much more. Her presence is unremarkable, but good for her to find work.
