So… the weather center that debuted originally at WABC with their new/current set had their standard ABC7 logo. Then within a couple of months of the set debut, they replaced the weather desk and instead included a large circle 7 without the ABC part of the logo. Not sure why they felt the need to change something that was recently installed and then put in a large circle 7 logo instead. I wonder if this is related to what KABC will be doing with just having a circle 7 logo?

WABC also has its own font that they’ve been using for decades for “Eyewitness News” EDIT: I now see this referenced is subsequent posts.

Oh… Didn’t realize such a hat would be needed in LA. Lol.

West coast ABC7 logo on winter hat. I remember when they updated the website template and had the west coast version of the logo which was understood as site builder just needing to update the logo from the site template they used. But in this instance, someone has to actively order this hat. Obviously, it’s not the biggest of deals, but it’s funny to notice these things.

So with GMA moving, is it correct ABC7 will have shows produced from 7 Hudson Square from 4am until 7pm (besides for the hour General Hospital at 3pm)?

When she is doing reporting, will she accidentally close her report “ABC7 Eyewitness News” out of habit?

When and why did they replace the weather center desk? Less than 3 months in the current studio.
