Right now, Troy Bridges does the morning news, Kylie Miller does noon and 4 p.m., Ahmad Bajjey does the evening and late news and Stacey Duford does the weekends evenings. Haven't seen Karen Carter recently.

In Canada, CityNews has new look. A major departure from previous formats. They now have new set, which ditched the standing anchor format. Honestly why.
They just swapped out the green and blue for red and black (a la Global News)

TNT Sports Tonight launched; in an interesting move, it appears to actually be produced by CNN with long-time sports correspondent Coy Wire hosting.
Which would explain the CNN graphics being used. Though they didn't show the logo in the L3.

Didn't KPRC do a 4am newscast first?

Saturday, it will be a year since CBS News Detroit premiered and they have really improved since then, especially the combo of Terrance and Shania on the evening broadcasts. I know in some way the ratings will still be a challenge, but this news operation is in for the long haul.

Ever since Terrence Friday replaced Jeff Skversky on the weekday evenings, the 5 and 6 pm newscasts have improved. Pacing is better, and the presentation is a lot more smooth. Terrence is a much better for than Jeff ever was.
Then who is anchoring the Noon and 4pm newscasts?

They are streaming the early evening weekend newscasts due to college football (Sat.) and the NFL (Sun.)

I did notice the bug animates between the "W" showing only the time to the "WINK" showing the time and temperature.

WINK or WBBH always manage to copy off the network-owned stations look.

i actually prefer them in the former 'New Day' studio.

Maybe they need to prepare it for the 11am newscast.

WGN has a similar situation with one meteorologist doing 4-6 am and another from 6-10 am

I figured this would be happening given what happened with Hurricane Ian last year that flooded their studios and knocked them off the air. Pulling a KHOU.

Would Washington D.C. and Richmond be deemed as adjacent to each other? Meaning if hypothetically a station has a virtual channel 12 in D.C., would it conflict with the same virtual channel in Richmond?
-
I have a question that's been bugging me lately. Can a tv station use their physical digital channel number in their branding rather than their virtual channel?

Since we are approaching the 6-month mark, have you been or still watching CBS News Detroit? Truthfully I have.

To quote Comic Book Guy from The Simpsons: "Worst idea ever." That's why I either watch FOX Weather or AccuWeather.

Actually, WJZ does have a news helicopter. They were the first one in Baltimore to have one in the late 90s.

That's true it's not exclusive. The latest Draft Kings commercial with Kevin Hart used the first 15 seconds of the theme.
