  1. The anchors (both this morning and evening) are on the set but have gone back to social distancing since the NY Covid Alert Level has gone to Medium. The forecasts will come from the green screen and Otis is doing sports remotely from home.

Wendy Reiger died today from Glioblastoma.

This one really hurts. I grew up watching her every day at 5pm on channel 4 for years.

Sad day in the Washington news world

Regarding Bruce, I want to say that when he retired from WUSA he was the last person left from the WTOP era at that station.

So very true. May he rest in peace.

Happy for Craig Treadway and Kirstin Cole.. Both being veterans of the Morning news. They get to have their own morning show. Hopefully, they can incorporate Kala and few other veterans into the Weekend morning show.  Who's doing weather?  Hopefully, it's Craig Allen.

Watching the inaugural weekend morning news right now. So far so good. Byron Miranda is doing the weather this morning.

  5. From what I have been seeing, the only things that have gone to Look S is the show promos (Kelly, Ellen, etc.), their I-Team promo and just this morning, their 5-second ID for Morgan & Morgan. I wouldn't be surprised if they started implementing the look by the start of November sweeps.

With the Delta Variant rising again, are the stations in your market taking a step back again?

KGO started to separate anchors again as of this morning.

they currently have 5 different set up options for its anchors to socially distance again.

    1. Desk

    2. Weather Center

    3. Side Set

    4. Newsroom

    5. Lunchroom

In DC, WRC-TV's Sunday morning broadcast started social distancing anchors again.
