  1. WCMH parody of "ER". This is really good:
  2. So this turned up. Two great promos from the 1980 Atlanta Emmy Awards. At about 1:02, we hear the "WSB 1980 News Theme" in all it's glory. The slogan: "It Takes 2". https://www.facebook.com/reel/887019726240271
  3. LOL. WTSP and WTLV are not too impressive. Both built in the '60's if I recall.
  4. WFLA "NewsWatch 8" from 8/24/92, the aftermath of Hurricane Andrew. Just a month earlier, they debuted the new studio set, graphics, and "(You'll Always Have) 8 On Your Side" music:
  5. WTLV "Action News" update 1979. What theme is that?
  6. WBNS mid '90s "SkyCam" promo:
  7. WTSP 1995 newscast:
  8. WFLA "NewsWatch 8" Update from 1981 with the short lived 'gapped 8'"
  9. WTSP from September 2002. The graphics and set were short lived. The next month, they blew up this look for the red and white graphics they had until 2008.
  10. KGTV 1990 "Nightcast" updates:
  11. WXFL, Tampa, 1984 late news open:
  12. Complete WTSP (ABC) newscast from 1/24/89. The waning days of "Action News" and just before the computer hacking scandal was discovered. A wild year for WTSP

    In Memoriam

Former NHC spokesman and TV meteorologist Dennis Feltgen had some very nice words for Dr. Frank on Facebook. The Tampa stations did many interviews with him.
  14. WBNS weekend newscast from 1997. Those graphics were truly mind-blowing at the time!
  15. It's been confirmed that Mannheim Steamroller composed the 1979 theme that WOWT used, called "Action Spirit". The KMTV 1982 theme also sounds like it could be a Mannheim Steamroller composed piece.
