I was just on vacation in the Outer Banks for three weeks and I never got to see him anchor once during that time period.

Possible Philly/KYW clues?

I don't think I saw this posted anywhere, but Jen Lewis, former WAVY (Portsmouth/Norfolk) AM traffic reporter, joined WTKR (Norfolk) in the same capacity last month. She's still a midday radio host on 92.9 The Wave.

Heather Kovar is leaving WRGB Schenectady/Albany at the end of the month, but right now, that is being overshadowed by this.

I don’t know if it’s fair to make that assessment of all of the teams. I agree about Steve. I think being paired with Lori and falling flat shows that he only attributed to Dari’s issues.
I personally enjoy Rosanna and Bianca.
Dan and Tashanea have only been together for a couple of weeks.
Weather and Traffic wise on Good Day with Mike and Ines - they have been with the team for at least 15 years each. Nick has been on for years. Audrey as well. I think it’s a strong team.Reporter wise, they are younger - but even some young talent like Teresa Priolo, Robert Moses have over 10 years with the station.
Dari was just... not that good. She wasn't good at FNC either.

I've noticed the unnecessarily-layered L3s on other Nexstar stations, too.

Not a fan of those L3s... too many layers that look like they don't belong there.

I don't know if this means anything, but Heather O'Rourke did a taped report on the many events happening in Manhattan this weekend, and the graphics seemed a bit different than the other graphics throughout the newscast. I'm in the NYC TV market for the weekend, so I don't watch WABC all the time, have their traffic graphics always looked a little different than their other graphics?

Lee Goldberg is doing weather from his backyard, and his dog was just on.

Shaina Humphries is leaving after this week, says she is heading off for a new adventure closer to home (suburban Chicago).

I remember her on the weather channel. She must’ve been young, too. RIP

I'm pretty sure WBOY is a dominant #1, and WDTV has changed their logo a bunch of times in recent years, if I'm not mistaken. WTOV, as mentioned above, is a dominant #1, I don't think viewers care that much about sets.
I don't think they need to worry about what the Pittsburgh stations are doing, they don't have nearly the same resources as them and the Pittsburgh stations don't really cover WV much to begin with (I know Morgantown is part of the market).

Are all the CBS O&Os getting this "First Alert Action Day" look?
That would be no bueno on KYW since WCAU uses First Alert.

I went to school with him, he is (obviously) very good.

Jim is scaling back his workload to only 6pm beginning in January, retiring at the end of 2022.

Meteorologist Casey Lehecka is leaving WAVY this Thursday after being unable to come to an agreement on a more workable/convenient schedule.

KAPP/KVEW central WA is still using the pre-2021 logo in their IDs and promos. I'm pretty sure ABC will persuade them to change to the new look by the fall season.
Most stations haven't started using it yet.

Bill always adds his two cents after almost *any* story, at least whenever I've watched. "Such a sad story" is the one I feel like I've heard most often. I've never liked his anchoring style even without the editorializing.

It seems like 6 has either stopped using or has gotten rid of its personal StormTracker radar site (which was based in Warrington, PA). They've stopped referencing their "Live Double Scan" radar and only ever use the NWS radar sites using the MAX Weather System (their radar was controlled and presented on air with Baron software). I'm wondering if this was a pandemic cost cutting casualty.
I think most stations that have/had their own radars now use NWS radars ever since the dual-pol upgrades.

Mike Jerrick turns 71 next month, if anything, he'll be retiring soon. He co-hosted a morning show with Juliet Huddy for a year or three.

WPVI’s is called Chopper 6. Sky 6 is just a sky camera.

Hell WABC has 3 reporters with 30+ years at the station (Burkett, Dolan, Fleischer), 12 at 20+ (Ritter, Del Giorno, Goldberg, Evans, Bookman, Charlesworth, Torres, Solis, Sager, Yang, Glassberg and Pineda), 13 at 10+ (Einiger, Kenyon, Cho, Baderinwa, Johnson, Novarro (two pieces separated by a stint in CHI, Champion (two stints separated by GMA & TWC), Rosato, Sohn, Yates, Richardson, Smith, Miles). The rest are at 9 or less.
WABC doesn't have this attitude or turnover.
WPVI has even more staff with longer tenure. Pretty sure WLS does too. -
About time.
