I'm not quite sure what you'd call this...

The station otherwise simulcasts KABB/San Antonio's morning and 9pm newscasts. What KIDY is producing seems to be a local insert into the 9pm news hour.

Some of that stuff I've never seen or heard before, namely the WTVY, WJHG, WSFA, and WTNZ packages. (The WSFA package in particular. This might be the custom "Alabama's News Source" package, for which the NMSA does not even have a raw music sample. The date, 1999, is correct.)

Here's WLNE's open from 1985. Funny, that's the same music used on WRGB.

WLNE was a sister station of WRGB for years under Freedom ownership, until Freedom sold WLNE to Global Broadcasting.
