yeah, I think so too.
Obviously not a given any of this happens. Purely speculation at this point, but if Josh does go to FS1, they'd have to give him a NY studio and some type of role to warrant being alone in NY...plus his roots are in SoCal so him "going home" makes sense...and I'd think Liz would go with (and find a job in a second.)
I think they'd *have* to offer the 4&6 to Lori first, but if she turned it down they would surely promote Shirleen. Shirleen will be first in line for any promotion over Michelle (sadly). Michelle would be amazing on weekdays. But the WABC ND is all about minority hires.
Anchor holes is uh...interesting lol.
I'd imagine if Lori wanted it, she could have the 4&6. If not, they'd prob leave Shirleen on the noon and have her pick up the 6. With maybe Michele or an outsider getting the 4.
Diana is not picking up any additional work..if anything I'd expect her to scale back permanently. Woman is an absolute Saint to her family.
Josh Elliot is leaving NBC. Rumor has it he might be joining Fox Sports 1 which is out in LA, where he's from. If he does, would his wife (Liz Cho) relocate out there too? Something to ponder
It appears that from Rob's Instagram page (in which he seems to continue to relish being a frat boy and not a professional news anchor), it appears he is on vacation in Italy.
The female anchor was hired to fill the vacancy created by Stacy Bell's departure.
Meteorologist Samantha Augeri from News12 Long Island is heading to WNYW as a weather producer and fill-in meteorologist. She was the weekend morning meteorologist as well as the weather producer and primary weekday fill-in at N12LI. Good pickup.
WABC should tread carefully. Michelle is a talent and while I'm sure she is happy and grateful right now you never know. She should be getting the morning show next if/when Lori leaves or is bumped to nights. If not...I've always thought her to be the perfect fit to replace Rosanna on GDNY when she retires way down the line.
Probably report for the morning show and anchor the noon? Or will Michelle finally get put on weekdays? It's possible though that the station views her as crucial to their weekend AM morning show and won't pull her off that.
Diana Williams will be on a reduced schedule the next few weeks as her husband battles a rare blood disease. Best wishes to him in a successful recovery.
Dr Oz must have been coming in 3rd behind Ellen and Judge Judy at that hour. While 3pm would have made sense, I guess they see 2pm as winnable against Meredith Viera and The Talk.
