WNYW really needs to invest in backup talent. Steve Lacy did GDNY, 6pm, and 10pm today.
Just a couple weeks ago, Mike Woods did GDWU, GDNY, 5pm, 6pm, and 10pm plus 10pm on my9.
I've never seen another station stretch their anchors so much. Not always a bad thing, but look at the situation WCBS is in now.

I was watching at 11pm last night. They made really good use of the set I was very impressed. Between the different shots and the wall, I had not seem them make such good use since they built it

As of late March they were still just using a table in the middle of the studio. I believe it was early April they started on that new set. Maybe I didn't see you mention that here.
Anyone see that the Good Day Cafe segment on GDNY now has it's own dedicated set. They built a full blown kitchen scene somewhere in the studio. Looks nice.

No surprise here, although I do hope they keep the talent under contract (especially Jane Hanson) as correspondents or reporters or something.
