It seems that WNBC dropped "Storm Tracker 4," the S-Band Radar in partnership with Rutgers University. There has been no on air mention or is listed as a radar on NBC O&O weather map sites.

Many of the NBC O&Os have done something like this since N launched in 2016. My only guess is that Artworks (I think they are called something else now) allows the option for affiliates to use the graphics for the "Decision" graphics. But again, why they don't have a format specifically for N for all the O&Os I still don't understand.

WNBC has updated their livestream for commercial breaks. Unfortunately, I can't seem to upload the print screen like @IceManNYR..
Also, New York live is live streaming on NBC New York as of today.
Here is a snapshot of the breaks during when watching live on the internet. The rainbow circles animate.

Back in the Blackout of 2003, WNBC was able to broadcast from their newsroom (even at times their studio 6b).

Nothing beats the CG background in the 2003 set in 6B. This may be a placeholder for the early AM because the city lights are dark and its just a very dark background.

Am I crazy or did WNBC update their anchor back drop? I never remember them having a giant screen. Didn't it used to be the "window" look? When did they change it?
This was something out of Studio 3C setup which I believe they used several large LCD TV monitors. In 3K, the monitors consist of an LCD monitor wall from the start. Maybe they are going to follow what WCBS does with their set LCD monitor wall backdrop with OTS graphics?

Sad that the OTS live shots have better audio than the newsroom.

WNBC is the only NBC station I know that doesn't have the GEC chime when the forecast graphics appear. Well, it seems that WNBC now follow the many other NBC stations that do.

The website now shows Storm Tracker 4 again. Maybe it was under maintenance?
