  1. At 10pm? (I honestly don't know, but that's what was written in Duane Dudek's article on JSOnline)
  2. WITI also debuted a new promo last night (that aired again tonight) touting how they did everything "right" in February. It's safe to say they didn't expect the ratings they got.
  3. I agree with you on most parts. Unfortunately, from the conversations I have had with their GM, he loves everything the way it is and isn't inclined to change anything. I wonder if these ratings will change his mind?
  4. February sweeps news here in Milwaukee. The usual top two were WISN and WTMJ, with WISN coming out on top this time. In a surprising development that seems to show HD does make a difference to viewers, WDJT beat out WITI for third place for the first time ever. The numbers were: WISN- 8.4 WTMJ- 8.0 WDJT- 6.7 WITI- 5.9
  5. Milwaukee police are at it again. It was just awhile ago that a WITI photojournalist was arrested at the scene of a house fire. Now a Milwaukee Journal Sentinel photographer has been arrested while taking pictures of the arrest of a protester at Occupy Milwaukee. A sad thing about this story is that MPD claimed they didn't know the woman was a photographer until they were at the station. But in the video, you can clearly hear a protester say "She's a journalist" while an officer responded "Too bad, can't be in the road". Another link from the JS. MPD seems to be in hot water now as this is a second apparent violation of the First Ammendment within the past 3 months.
  6. I guess this would be the right thread to place this. Tammy Elliott has resigned from WFRV in Green Bay effective Sept. 30th. She says she wants to step away and take more time to be a mom. She was previously an anchor at WISN in Milwaukee before joining WFRV.
