I just saw the Megyn Kelly segement against Jane Fonda. It seems every ex Fox Newser is getting a reality check! Both Her and Megan McCain had bad press this week and it’s only Tuesday haha! You can tell they got their way more with Fox News and now the tides have turn! I believe Megyn Kelly should be reprimanded because what she did was completely uncalled for! It’s ok to air your grievances about Jane about the surgery but not to make it a personal attack on her because she didn’t want to answer your question! Some people are not going to be here for you sometimes and that’s ok! Just move on and you can either not have her come back on your show or keep your opinions to yourself! That was very “Mean Girl” of her. You have to believe NBC is like what did they do! I wanted for her to work out but this isn’t! I don’t know what else for her to do because after NBC she’ll be damage goods because Fox isn’t going to take her back and I don’t see who else would want her. She’s not worth 15/20 million dollars!

After watching CTM and GMA/People segment on Ann, I see now why she isn’t going on NBC platform. Part of me want to give her a big hug because she been through a lot! Her career dreams were shattered and the place she’s been at since 1997 did nothing to help her. This to me is a perfect example of the Me Too movement. Both her male superiors Remained unscathed and blame for the ratings. Matt continued to have his job and Jamie Bell ( EP) got a job producing the Olympics. The environment at Today seemed very sexist (I know it is a lot of places like this). I hope Ann is a peace! She seems very genuine and you can tell that there is no love lost between her and Matt. I do wonder how she feels about Katie because I believe Katie took up for Matt more and shy away from talking about Ann. ***Breaking News: And will you looking at that! I agree with the newsreader position. They need it back since they really do not utilize Natalie as the “West Coast Anchor” like they originally said they would (a guise to say she’s really not leaving just expanding her role on the show). She’s basically not even on the show like that ( Same concept they said Ann was the Today Anchor At-Large). Bring in Craig, Willie, or even Shaniell?? to that position. I wonder if they’ll let Megyn Kelly to fill in on the first 2 hours of Today going further and has she did that yet?

I hope this doesn’t come off as harsh but once she filed the complaint, she knew her days were numbered. She’ll eventually land on her feet one day.

One thing I want Jeff to do is get a haircut. I know that seems like nothing to worry about but he need a new look. He just looks like a man trying hard to keep his 90s look.

I've been thinking and saying this a while now. Both Matt and Al were there 20+ years and its time to slowly phase them out. They've were good bit now you can see both are not as passionate as they once were.

I said the same thing. If he wanted to go that route then he could've brought up Gurvir indiscretions with her time at WTTG on Fox 5 DC ( when she anchored with her current husband ex wife who she was previously having an affair.) Now that's a story but not what he wrote. I wished he had a comment section but he seems the kind that doesn't take to well to criticism (dish it but can't necessarily take it).

I totally forgot about the 10 p.m. newscast. If that's the case then Rick & Monica does 5, 6 and 11 and Brian & Sharrie does the 4, 5:30 and 10.

Well I can see Rick and Monica remaining at 5 and adding 11 and Brian and Sharrie adding the 6.

What happen to the anchor she replaced? Did they not renew her contract?

I understand the way they felt. I know she was afraid but everyone was. If we were required to work and she just didn't show up, that's not fair to the other people.

Well if I'm being honest, I do not really care for GMA Weekend on ABC WNT set that much either however it's on the opposite side of the studio creating its own unique space. All I was saying is that I prefer they had a stand alone set but CBS and any other station going to do whatever they want and I can chose to watch or not.

I think a rotation of Anchors would be fine. Shake it up a bit like the National did (CBC I think??). Or try the two anchor format again since they are in CTM studio. What they need to do is, give the show a stand alone studio to because this one studio thing feels like they are poor and giving up. Plus it seems like they don't want Norah O'Donnell off CTM so they need to find a respectable person in that slot. They may never be number one again but they need something a little different and permanent.

This can also back fire like it did at a station I worked at. The weekend anchor was basically poised for an evening position for 4 and 6 but the station found someone else that they liked better. This caused a lot of animosity towards the anchor and station and when she left, she dissed the station in an interview at her new station. That's why nothing is set in stone. (P.S.: I'm not going to give any personal information on the anchor and station for personal reasons)

ABC in general been criticized hard this week so hopefully things are not that bad. David must've had something more pressing than just a vacation.
