Unfortunately for the producers, it is a fireable offense to send an internal information (i.e., a newsroom memo) out for publication.

As much as Scott Jones (FTV Live) likes to call out the regression of modern-day broadcast journalism, the man fails at modern blog/website creation and simple editing of stories. ChatGPT could write better and more clearly than he does. He also thinks an email newsletter is revolutionary…in 2023.
But, I will say, good for him for making a living (for 20+ years) with that site!
He actually uses an AI program on some articles. They're marked with an asterisk.

CW's golf schedule won't change in 2023. After that, I don't think we'll see much golf on CW unless LIV carries on as a distinct tour with its own events.

Scripps wants to integrate Scripps News more deeply into its local news.

Getting off-track a bit, I would not be surprised if more stations diverted 4:00 a.m. resources to middle-of-the-day newscasts instead. Sunbeam has much more flexibility, of course, with one station independent and one station only giving up two hours a day to FOX.

There are rumors Ingraham is being demoted, with FOX News Channel looking at some combination of Hannity/Watters/Gutfeld in the 8-11 ET slots.

Important note, Deegan made history as the first woman to be elected as mayor of Jacksonville, which had been the most populous U.S. city with a Republican mayor (a status that will be assumed by Fort Worth and its mayor, Mattie Parker, once Deegan—who ran as a Democrat—is inaugurated).
Considering her husband, Tim, is still chief meteorologist at WTLV/WJXX, what will Donna's election mean for his status with First Coast News? He did cede his slot on the 11:00 p.m. newscast last June, which Lew Turner (who had been working and still works on Good Morning Jacksonville) was assigned to as Deegan chose to reduce his workload to the early evening newscasts.
I don't see any conflict of interest. But I imagine he's close to retirement anyway.

$35 million seems like a bargain for a station in southern California. I am conflicted about how the operations will co-exist.
