  1. Good evening, how come live vans/trucks have phones? What are they typically used for? Thanks.
  2. At one point she anchored the 4:30-7:00 AM block, and was in the field the 7:00-10:00 am block? Do I have that right?

  5. I noticed that the WBBM reporters that were covering the protests had little radios/walkie talkies on them. Why was this?

  8. I saw a marked WGN TV can with that permit on the windshield. Now why would a marked news vehicle need one?
  9. I'm sure the expenses the Chicago stations incurred for the RNC in Milwaukee weren't as big as it's just up the road. Likewise I'm sure the expenses incurred by the Milwaukee TV stations won't be as big if they send people to the DNC in Chicago. Again it's just down the road.
  10. Well folks on Monday the 2024 DNC at the United Center kicks off. Feel free to post how stations are covering it through the duration in the replays. Fingers crossed that all hell doesn't break lose
  11. Good Morning, I'm not sure if you've noticed this but it seems like WFLD and WBBM hold on to no one. While WGN,WLS, and to a lesser extent WMAQ do a better job at holding onto there talent. Would you all say this is true? If so what are some of the reasons why WFLD and WBBM don't hold onto there people? Thanks.

  17. Good evening, For the Olympics, does the ICO provide camera and crews for the events and the networks broadcasting just feed off of them? Thanks.
  18. When it comes to so called one man banding, I would be correct to assume that union rules/contracts play a role in how often if ever it's used?
