Well, since Pensacola just came up...WBRZ 1985 is an unnamed theme by Terry Sweet & Associates, according to the uploader of all those clips featuring WEAR using it.

I was wondering when they'd step up to the plate and do this. Supposedly 3 blows everyone else out of the water ratings-wise at 4. Then again, they say they blow everyone else out of the water everywhere else, too.

This seems to be inspired by a mix of the early 80s Corinthian look (gradient lines) and the "And You" look (text - do we have a proper name for this?). And it's incredibly well-done. I'm beginning to think that WBMG was using this when they restarted their news department in '87. That open screams mid-80s small market/low-budget to me.

The music used in this sounds an awful lot like ...I smell production music.
