    I kinda figured that would happen. I think there will still be complaints about the graphics during the Talkback 16 segments because there were complaints about the new website and app.

    I like the graphics as well. But the scoreboard needs work. It might actually look better if it was vertical on the left side of the screen like the old FoxBox was. And the touchdown graphic looks very corny to me...

    Well since WBZ just started a 10pm newscast on WSBK, I doubt it.

    If these graphics do make it to Daytona for the 500, then I hope the scoring pylon style ticker goes away and they go back to a horizontal ticker back at the top of the screen.

    WBZ did the same thing with their 8pm newscast on WSBK when they launched CBSN Boston.

    Well whenever I come to Cleveland to visit my aunt and uncle, I do watch WOIO at Noon, and its a very well put together newscast. The fact that it is able to compete is not a surprise. WJW is I'm assuming #1 in that time slot. IMO, after watching both WKYC and WOIO (I visited for Thanksgiving), WOIO is definitely the better, more well organized station.

    Bumping this thread to say that KDKA now has these weather graphics on their newscasts. Just seen them during the 4pm news...

    WPXI re-airs their holiday parade (which will be taking place on the Saturday after Thanksgiving) on Christmas morning in place of a morning newscast. And that's a big deal because the other two stations here air some sort of morning newscast when they should let them be with their families and Channel 11, which is very news-heavy, airs something family-friendly...

    WPXI still uses him in their opens and a few promos. Brian Lee voices over most other station promos. He actually didn't sound bad in the promo above. CVD's voice is deteriorating, and IMO, Chapin could be a decent replacement...

    The new ticker has shown up during NHL and NASCAR coverage. Its a variation of the new SNF ticker.

    Yeah I think if Nexstar were to keep WJW, it wouldn't be all that bad.

    WKBN can be added to the list, although sister station WYTV hasn't switched over to the new site design yet.

    Yeah I think this is a bigger deal for the Indy market because that market is already going through many ownership changes. This just adds fuel to the fire.

    See that's what I'm thinking. She'll eventually pop up somewhere else, so this is probably not the last we've heard of Monica Malpass.
