I doubt NBC would return 2 hours of daytime programming back to its affiliates.  My thinking would be... Why not bring back the soaps?

I miss seeing the soaps, especially Another World.  At least NBC still has Days of our Lives, which got renewed for its 56th season.

Ohh that’s the question we can observe.

We need NBC to give the 9-11am slots back to their affiliates PERIOD. No more third and fourth hour please, it is enough

I would like to remind everybody that Monday of next week, it would be two years ago, July 22... it was the day that Washingtonian's lost WRC NBC 4's Jim Vance. Take the time to remember him, and re-look back at his career next week.

I will say lots of prayers for Jim next Monday. Hard to imagine a leader on News4 Washington is gone two years later.

2001: A portion of a WTVJ-produced WSFL (nee WBZL) newscast that used the late 90s - early '00s WB look as its graphics.

Never saw those graphics before, and Willard and Jackie are in the newsroom rather being at the NBC 6 set with the WB39 backgrounds

Oh my god what did KCRA 3 do to their sister station’s logo?

WPLG weekend morning anchor Todd Tongen has died at age 56.

This is so shocked to hear that sad news I watched Todd every weekend mornings on Channel 10 and most recently his 10 Taxi got him famous. So sad for everyone at my ABC station in Miami, saying all our prayers🙏

The majority start at 8am ET/5am PT, some at 9am ET/6am PT and even WHIO Dayton airs it at 10am.

Well at least its taped across the USA

  7. Man everybody was wondering where did Jeff went since he left ‘Evening News’...but June 22nd is the date we must save the date to watch Jeff Glor alongside Michelle Miller and Dana Jacobson. Might need to check your CBS stations for times when does CBS This Morning: Saturday starts (mine starts at 7am)

  8. Guys I hate to tell you this, but I received a notification from WNYT NewsChannel 13 on Facebook saying that their 10pm news on WNYA My4 Albany will be moving to 9pm. With this result, it will be the ONLY news at 9pm in the Capital Region. It starts 4/9 which is Tuesday!!! Looks like the 10pm newscasts will belong to WCWN (produced by WRGB) and WXXA (produced by WTEN).; aka two newscasts duopolies in primetime.

Word is he wasn’t renewed. They didn’t announce he was leaving until Friday, the same day he left. People on their Facebook page are mad.

His farewell, if you can call it that, lasted about 5 seconds at the end of the newscast. No through-the-years montage. No long speech. Both the main anchors were off, too. Awkward.

What in the world is going on? I feel like everyone is leaving right away to new positions in different work areas

LOVE the KXTV 1986 Theme (really should be 1984) cut at the beginning of that KXTV close.

A curious look at KOAA’s news in 2001, almost three months before becoming “News First.”

That was 5/30's final time using Eyewitness News before they changed their title to “News First” in time for the 2002 Winter Olympics (the NBC logo after 9/11)

  11. Listen we must watch out for what people are posting on social media. I am 21 and now I have to be careful and that picture was totally unacceptable she drew what was Mandy did. Always remember to be cautious for what people said and how they react

Winston-Salem's WGHP (FOX) is expanding its newscasts to 11PM. The new newscast will appear on 1st month of May and will bring the total amount of news content produced each day to 11 hours.

Michael Hennessey will anchor FOX 8 News at 11PM along side Chief Meteorologist Van Denton.

This is big return to the station when it was ABC until the switch in ‘95

There is no way Dylan will sustain working 7 days a week long term. Same goes for Sheinelle working 6 days. They'll have to have a day off during the week on a permanent basis (as Chuck Todd does) or dump their weekend duties all together & stick with the third hour during the week. They can easilly get somone from The Weather Channel to take Dylan's spot and someone from MSNBC to cover Sheinelle on Saturdays.

Maybe TODAY can axe weekends and (if our predictions) Sheinelle and Dylan could join FOX News for better viewers to understand their opinions

Amanda isn’t returning to Boston. She and her family are staying in Seattle.

Oh thanks for the input, my mind was focusing on the wrong station without any affiliate.

Forget it. NBC will never return to WHDH.

Sorry bad move, their NBC O&O in Boston needs to end local news due to negative reviews. I’ll ask someone to resolve the conflict
