The Orange Room is blocked off now for what I assume is when Carson is gone. It’s slide in wall with wooden “steps” of the Today show logo seen similar to the acrylic one that’s out orange that’s immediately next to the video wall.

 

Now as a Savannah fan I think she should get the third hour to even hours up (between her and Hoda). She could make it newsy while also pop culture friendly.

No no no, I'm checking other websites for any buzz happening at low-rated NBC and Carson Daly has to leave Today Show because of prior flights going back-and-forth will be hectic for him.

No it's his schedule that may be the problem, because the going back-and-forth situation will be too much for him.

Peter Alexander is the new Saturday Today cohost replacing Craig Melvin.

That was NOT a good choice. NBC needs to end weekend editions of TODAY. Peter needs to stay in Washington to help his wife Alison Starling.

I have one layoff in my NBC prediction list that needs to "go back to basics". Next prediction...is the females that I really DON'T like as an anchor team.

I've had enough. I am so in big trouble, 'cause I can't stand Megyn nor the Today Show gang anymore. No inspiration! No more viewership! Zero! NBC is going backwards! Best team? None of my business. Unfortunately, NBC needs to change the anchor team for viewers that could really change The Today Show before layoffs will arrive.

breitbart.com reports that 'Nightly News' has been fallen to its lowest year ever!!! Ouch, NBC is not gonna be happy about this and Megyn is also included with her lowest viewers than any other NBC program.

I don’t think viewers are watching Lester anymore, I feel like the network has lost it completely. Lester doesn’t care about everything what’s going on right now, like come on NBC it's been three years of no viewers, no winner. NBC News needs to catch up because the other networks are winning in total viewers and demographics!!!! Nightly News needs to change dramatically!!!!

KLAS-TV Las Vegas recently added a 9 pm newscast on subchannel 8.2 (MeTV), just an hour ahead of other prime-time news coverage on KVVU and KVCW.

Channel 8 used to have a 10pm news share-agreement when KTUD was still on the air as UPN Las Vegas.

I just heard that Megyn Kelly will be gone from NBC sooner or later. The network needs to stop being #1 everyday with the lowest ratings on The Today Show and the anchor team is worse than you thought. Next step is to axe weekend editions as well. Yikes! NBC is not a good network to watch!!

This reninds me of the four-anchor morning team of Harry, Hannah, Rene and Julie back then.

Somehow the 3 anchor format on the weekend’s one hour show just doesn’t work well to me.

Properly the 2 anchor format on weekends are better

It didn't waste anytime announcing its new 10pm show. It starts Monday!

 

And Hearst has rebranded its CW outlet as "Maine's CW".

By the way, the WMTW/WPXT news idea was in my mind. So it means that 10pm news is back on 51.

KIAH in Houston will air Blackish from 5-6pm and DailyMailTV at 9-10pm starting Monday.

It leaves KRIV as the ONLY primetime newscast at 9pm.

Hey everybody, did anybody watched the final NewsFix in Dallas and Houston? My Morning Dose on CW South Florida will be replaced with Live PD. But what will replace the NewsFix slot at 9pm central?

I have some good news/bad news on changes in Texas=

Good news in Tyler, TX...KYTX CBS19 since Monday debuted the ONLY news at noon.

Bad news is tomorrow in Dallas and Houston...KDAF and KIAH, both CW affiliates are ending newscasts effective. (Feel bad for the staff)

Finally they debut their new studio to match the graphics too.

Lasting, Michigan has a new 5:30 newscast thanks to WILX News 10, starting Monday, October 1st. (set your calendars) But they can’t do live newscasts for WSYM FOX 47 at the same timeslot. It can match WLNS’ 5:30 newscasts which debuted last year

WBAY is keeping their noon show and having GMA Day air at 2pm like they did The Chew. WBRZ, that just seems like some kind of listings error; more likely Wendy goes to 11am, then GMA Day at 2pm.

Don’t forget KRDO, KVIA and KSAT too, they air noon newscasts and GMA Day at 2pm!

Rick Folbaum has apparently left WFOR in Miami after 4 years from Fox News. So Elliott Rodriguez has took his place alongside Rudabeh Shahbazi on the 5, 6, 7 and 11 pm newscasts.
