65 years ago today, A station on channel 27 in Portland, Oregon made history as being the first UHF station that is still operating today. That station is KPTV, now on Channel 12. Here is a ID from KPTV from the 1980s

Withers still owns its radio stations. So Withers is still alive.

As of May 1st, the sale closed and withers is no more (I think). Edit- I thought wrong, withers still owns Radio stations.

If this merger is official, I am going to be really mad. Nexstar really wants to monopolize the tv market.

Another thing changed: KLAF dumped Inergy for Aerial

Has anyone checked about the big change that is happening to KLAF?It's supposed to be happening today. (April 3rd)

December 21st of this year (2017) will mark 65 years since the nation's second oldest UHF station that is still operating today and the oldest UHF station that never changed channel numbers (stayed on channel 43 since its entire existence), WPMT, signed on the airwaves as WSBA-TV, and gave the Susquehanna Valley another choice for TV, other than WGAL. Here is a newscast from WPMT in 1999.

That logo is not new, WNWO used it since 2014. And the 4 is fine, it's looks cool when a number is on top of another.

As of what I have seen with the websites, no not yet.

I will not be surprised if WSYR-TV has new graphics and logo like KCAU's in the near future.
