  1. As I said "I get it". I'm just saying!
  2. I get it that Candace McCowan is a free lancer. But still, she has been around for awhile and her bio not being on the web site is disingenuous by WABC, but either that's the policy or she does not want it on there. She is on facebook tho so it can't be a big privacy thing.
  3. They are still in the honeymoon phase. After about a year, IMO it will start to get ugly because since both have been in this market for such a long time, both will fell "I belong in the power chair". And in a co-anchor set up, there is only one power chair.
  4. To have 2 males co-anchoring a newscast today is quite rare IMO.
  5. Saw a facebook post today where Diana mentioned that Sade should be back Monday. Yes, I did see the report by Darla yesterday.
  6. My best to Sade and Darla for full recoveries and hope to see them back on the air soon.
  7. Recently they seemed to hire a lot more sports people. Now that they canned "Sports on 1, the Last Word" after 25 years on the air, they all get canned. Including long time employees Budd Mishkin and Kevin Gerrity. I agree that sports is expensive for them to cover and they only do it for an hour every night, but it will be missed after 25 years of it. Another enhcancement by Spectrum I suppose.
  8. I know Dray came from Philadelphia, but was it that same station?
  9. Same thing today (Sunday).
  10. Today (Tues. 8/22): Noon anchors Liz and Michelle.
  11. Shirleen has been off the noon news lately and has been on at 4 and 5. There are so many missing lately I can't keep track: Williams. Sade, Navarro. I was shocked yesterday : A FRIDAY and Ritter and Cho did both the 5 and 6 with Ritter going solo at 11. Noon Thursday were Nelson and Glassburg. Noon Friday was Rosado and Glasssburg. I can't believe they allow so many anchors to take off at one time, but hey, it's their business, not mine!
  12. A bit of a correction: Erica doubled up on Saturday. Kristyal covered on Sunday.
  13. Marissa Torres (yes, the Traffic Girl and anchoring is in her resume) anchored the PIX News @ 5 on Saturday 5/27. Presumably she did the 10 PM as well. I'm Happy Scott is going back to sports. I like his style of presenting it. I watch the PM news more than the AM news.
  14. Point well taken, but on the weekend there usually is not much news. Plus with such an extreme shift hours, Rosendale probably goes home for a nap. It's not unusual for weekenders to double up. Often done with the weather people. It's only 2 days.
  15. Maybe Suki and Tamsen were hired by previous management because they were "pretty faces". IMO the PIX morning news has relied on sex appeal, more than FOX5 ever did.
  16. Waiting for his profile on the "News Team" page.
  17. Read it again. ".....staffer Dray Clark".
  18. And those free-lancers never make it into the staff profile section. Now it seems Candace McCowan is the free-lance street reporter in the morning along with staffer Dray Clark.
  19. I like her work but it remains to be seen how long Betty survives at the revolving door at PIX. Plus being somewhat of a "journey-woman", it's not a good combo. Will Scott remain as co-anchor?
  20. I've seen David Ushery on the air at 11 AM, so filling in for Chuck at 11 PM would be an awfully long day for David to sub when Chuck is missing.
  21. Nareen Chowdry on the PIX News at 5 in place of Kaity today.
