Compared to the current NY1 graphics I like News 12 better in that dept Fios 1 is eh

Saw some snippets of News 12 Bronx today they seem to cover the Bronx alright

Verizon and TWC sighed a agreement not compete with NY1 in TWC areas

Doubtful tho I heard Fios 1 is carried in Brooklyn in areas served by Altice

NY1 was in NJ for a while but in Bergen County and had a local NJ newscast until 2014

They cover the Boroughs well

FIOS 1 NYC could work on small budget I mean they running a tri state operation from WRNN TV in Westchester County

NY1 feeds a Queens and Staten Island Newscast every half hour to Cable headends in Queens and Staten Island

I kinda wish Fios expanded their FIOS 1 operation to NYC but I doubt that would happen they expanded to Hudson Valley in 2014 besides Fios 1 is a partnership with WRNN TV

I say Queens and Staten Island get underserved by the local Newscasts NY1 does a great job covering those areas for TV only way to get Queens or Staten Island News besides NY1 is the Staten Island Advance or Queens Tribune

What you mean by this are you talking about those bootleg Analog boxes from the 90s that TWC cracked down and shut down back in 2013 my uncle had one of those

I dont think NYC Franchise for Cable Systems would allow Altice to buy Charter that would mean Manhattan,Queens and Staten Island will be under Altice Thumb or heck the FCC now I recall Trump opposed the AT&T and Direct TV deal done under Obummer(sorry for getting political) during the campaign trail and Trump opposes Time Warner(Former Parent Company)-AT&T Deal as well

Back in the late 2000s NY1 had ads on the busses

They sometimes have WPIX ad on it sometimes

I noticed the ads on the Q46 and Q30 today
