Here's a weird one. I found a newscast opening from Dayton TV station WLWD (Now WDTN) and the opening is the same look that the Capital Cities TV stations used at the time. CapCities never even owned the station. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=GRjyySFO2V4;t=691

Here's an opening to KSBW's 5pm newscast recorded sometime around 2003-2004. **Using a different cut of "Image News".

Yeah, anyways I'm glad they dumped that awful "CBS North Carolina" branding. Also, nice new set.

They might have been thinking "Lets use WSPA's logo with a 1 for our new logo."
