Brittany McHatten is leaving WRGB/Albany after 4.5 years, most recently as the sports director, to join WABI in Bangor, Maine. She got married since joining WRGB, and she has been living apart from her husband, who works in communications at the University of Maine. She'll be a morning anchor at WABI, starting next month.

The only way they'll get the fifth hour if "Days of Our Lives" goes bye-bye.
Could a potential fifth hour be headed to the Peacock streaming service, possibly with the option for affiliates to pick it up if they want?

I'm kind of thinking that too. Even FTVLive reported that this stunt CBS has opted for is a "money grab". WCBS 2 NYC producing WUPA 69 Atlanta newscast, KTVT 11 DFW producing WKBD 50 Detroit newscast, and WFOR 4 Miami producing WTOG 44 Tampa Bay newscast.
(1) Better scenario would've been having a competing station produce newscasts. Atlanta, having WSB 2 do WUPA newscast. Tampa Bay having WTSP 10 or WFTS 28 do WTOG newscast. Detroit, having WDIV 4 do WKBD newscast, if WWJ 62 relaunching news department isn't on CBS' agenda.
Why would that be a better scenario for CBS? I'm sure using existing resources at the O&Os is cheaper for CBS than outsourcing the newscasts to competing stations in the markets. Outsourcing would also help promote the rival stations. Since this is likely just a quick cash grab for political ad revenue, the best scenario for CBS is the one that costs the company the least. Which is likely what they're doing.

Longtime WSB chopper pilot Jason Durden posted on Twitter that he’s no longer with the station. Pretty abrupt. Last time in the air was apparently last week. Sister stations WJAX and WFOX grounded their chopper. Surely the mighty WSB wouldn’t have gone that route, too. Or would they?
That's probably what happened now that WSB is owned by a hedge fund, which are always looking to cut costs whenever possible.

U-verse blacked out WISC (CBS/MNT, Madison, Wisc.) last night. The dispute doesn't seem to include DirecTV or the other Morgan Murphy-owned stations.

In anticipation of Fox's new graphics package, here's a look at the NFL on Fox scorebugs through the years, courtesy of a DeviantArt user.
I'm partial to the 2006-2009 bar. It had a nice, clean look. The only thing it was missing was the timeout indicators, which came with the next package.
