  1. Well, David Brenner is on tonight and he's been dead 9 1/2 years. Judging from the listings this week, they key on one recognizable name.
  2. I live in Kansas and have watched them both. The line between news and talk is flimsy for each of them at 9. Yeah, apologies. Took a quick look at the KCRG website.
  3. KSNW in Wichita is moving and expanding its "Good Day Kansas" from its current 12:30-1 p.m. to 11 a.m. to noon, effective Sept. 4. KSN already bumps the third hour of today and Hoda & Jenna an hour to run Kelly & Mark at 9, so I wonder what's going to be missing. Competition KAKE and KWCH already have news/local talk at 9.
  4. Assuming Clarkson gets moved to 3p to replace Rachael?
  5. Wasn't that just the You Bet Your Life set?
  6. The big surprise was that it wasn't Allen.
  7. Is "Channel Surf" with Craig Ferguson a go? Haven't seen anything on it since the announcement in January.
  8. I was thinking the same thing -- even airing it in late-late night or next-day, since it's not necessarily a "nighttime" show. Between the little I watch of NN and the fact that I'm off to bed at 9p CT, I catch Banfield reruns on weeknight prime time on WG, er, NN. I've crushed on Ashleigh since she was on MSNBC.
  9. KSHB had a story on a United Methodist pastor named Tom Brady.
  10. Ah, thanks.
  11. Back in the '70s, KOLN's 10p news had the highest market share of any CBS affil in the nation. KLKN has taken a little dent, but it should be interesting with Deb Mcdermott's (former KOLN PD) company. KSNB is owned by Gray but has a completely different newscast, focusing on Kearney-Hastings-Grand Island. If you're referring to KWCH, that's Wichita, a fur piece (as we say in Kansas) away.
  12. Or ... he could want the station to get ratings.
