It's fine how it is. It matches the plainness of everything else. I get you have a personal attachment to this particular station, but the graphics package just doesn't warrant this much attention. It's plain like the others, and no amount of orange will fix that, nor will they add orange to it.

Wow, as I expected nothing exciting. I feel for these stations that will be stuck with these packages for years now.

BeckTV Builds Tegna ‘Hub-and-Spoke’ Master Control Facility
QuoteBeckTV, a systems integrator for the broadcast media industry, has completed a project for one of its major U.S. clients — station group Tegna Inc. Tegna had BeckTV design, instal, and integrate all systems for Tegna’s centralized new master control operation, the Tegna Stream Center, based on a cloud-based hub-and-spoke approach that will serve all Tegna stations.
One of the largest local television station groups in the U.S., Tegna owns 64 television stations in 51 markets. Upon completion, Tegna’s new master control hub in Charlotte, N.C., will support more than 225 channels across the country, with more than 50 spoke-racks deployed at distributed locations. More than 500 originating multicast streams traverse a private LAN to facilitate monitoring and operation of all stations.

Now back to the topic at hand....when will WVUE get new graphics? I really hope they get a hybrid look like WBRC got. It's a powerhouse station that now dominates the New Orleans market, plus being home of Investigate.TV and Lee Zurik providing stories for the entire group...
Outside of WAVE's graphics, nothing I've seen here is better than what they have. WBRC still feels cheap.

Its looks ok to me. But I'm still waiting for the rest of the ex-Raycom stations to get new graphics (what's the hold up?)
Hopefully the hold up is that there is pushback on these below-par graphics.

Typically I would say WVUE would never move away from blue, but with WGNO leaving the purple train, I could see it.

I don't see how any of this is a step forward from this:
