ABC changing their logo; New graphics coming for ABC owned stations
H-Town TV Fan replied to Briella's topic in Graphics
Welp, it's February 2022 (the first Sweeps month of the year), and none of the 8 ABC O&O's have adopted the new graphics. Makes me wonder if the stations are satisfied with the graphics they have right now. -

At the 5:27:48 mark of this packed Internet Archive video are clips of a 2004 KXLY newscast (if anyone knows the exact date of this, let me know and I will edit accordingly), with Signature as their music package and Sean Caldwell voicing the open (apparently Bill Ratner was dropped for a few years before returning the following year): Blank VHS #17- Vision TV, ABC : Free Download, Borrow, and Streaming : Internet Archive

Remember that I commented that I wished I could see how KPRC signed-off back in 1983? Well, here it is!

May I request that this thread be renamed "The Nexstar Graphics Thread"?

And KRIV, too. It will instead air at 8 a.m. local time on sister station KTXH.

Here's a rare gem, and one that I've been looking for for years: A case (namely #1132) from the short-lived court show "Jones & Jury" from 1995.

And as far as I'm concerned, there are only four "Big Three" affiliates airing "Maury": KDNL (St. Louis, ABC), WNCF (Montgomery, ABC), WGBC-DT2 (Meridian, NBC), and the biggest surprise to me, WJZ (Baltimore, CBS).
-
In Houston, KPRC 2 continued to air "Maury" all the way until 2004, when what was then KHWB WB 39 picked it up. I think "Jerry Springer" also moved to 39 from 2 at that same time.

KUMV TV-8 Night Report (September 21, 1991) Sounds like a very early Bill Ratner sighting in the introduction of the newscast. Courtesy of NW ND Farmer & Rancher / Video Archive, which has also uploaded some commercials (national and local) and station I.D.'s (including some from KUMV STILL using the NBC "Proud N" logo in 1991!).
