Here’s the debut of the 10AM newscast! This is really interesting, it seems they are keeping Alyana, Alicia and Nydia all on the desk as regular anchors at the same time! But this makes desk looks really cramped. Also to note with the intro, for the first time in years, MCTYW is being played in the original key! I am also surprised that they didn’t debut the new graphics today.

So it looks like each station will be able to customize the accent colors. KTRK has red in place of yellow, and the blue looks a bit different. I wonder what they will do for breaking news, as WLS uses the blue with red accent color scheme for that.

Since were now getting a 10AM newscast, who do you think will anchor it? And do we yet to have an actual lineup for noon?

Its not about hierarchy, it's about shifts. Gray already does the 10PM PHL17 cast, so it makes sense to keep him on. If Sarah were to fill in at 11PM, that means she would've been working for 12 hours, which I'm pretty sure no one wants to do.

I am pretty sure WPVI is going to wait til September 1st because PHL-17, the network they produce a 10PM newscast for, just announced it is switching its affiliation from MyNetwork to The CW. It wouldn’t make sense to make new graphics for the PHL-17 broadcast when it will only last a few months.
