I'll be sad when Dani leaves the weekend mornings. She's such a fun person and has more freedom to be silly on those broadcasts IMHO. Jeff always did strike me as a reserved quite person. I think the only time I've seen him slightly break that was when they had some tech issues and he appeared taller on the weather screen and then vanished before resetting whatever had broken. Whoa, that came out of nowhere?! Cannot begin to imagine why she'd leave. I saw Mike' Marza's Instagram story celebrating her, but hadn't a clue what that was about.

For anyone here who works for ABC7NY, can you please suggest a better revamp to the newscasts page? It's now IMPOSSIBLE to go further back to view older newscasts. Don't get me wrong, it looks a lot nicer than the previous one, but it's removed a huge amount of functionality by limiting the amount of videos you can scroll through. An option to select a date would be fantastic. I don't know just how many newscast videos are kept on the server, but it'd be nice to have the option to go back at least to the start of the current month.

I wonder if this treatment might help Bill? It won't reverse the disease, but at least in this 80yr old patient with advanced Alzheimer's disease, it improved functions and quality of life, in what I have to say is a remarkable way. Truly a sad day last Friday. I hope whatever treatments are out there, even the experimental ones, Bill will be able to get the best possible care. Sad, but understandable that they've already replaced the 6PM newscast image. Seems that as of today they've also redesigned the page. I hope if anyone here who works at ABC7NY reads this: please fix the page so you can scroll down beyond the current day's newscasts. Even better would be an option to select a date, as some of us like to go back even further and on the previous layout, that meant endless scrolling.

I guess Joe Torres no longer needs his glasses? Starting with the March 7th weekend newscast, he's been without them. Going to take a while to get accustomed to it.

So have they settled on who co-anchors the weekend mornings with Michelle yet? They've been switching between Toni Yates and Chanteé Lans.

I can't be the only one who thinks the new group photo they've been using during broadcasts is nice, but the dress colors for Shirleen and Brittany are too light? Compare to the current image used on the newscast page:

Dani was definitely happy to have him back in the morning. He also did the night newscasts as well. That's a rough stretch.

That does sound like leaving wasn't something she wanted to do. I see a lot of her co-workers have left comments wishing her well and sad over her departure.

It's great, however I wish it was possible to select a date to view the day's newscasts, as it takes quite a long time to constantly hit the "show more" button and scroll down to find newscasts from earlier in the month or those that are even older.

Was looking through the team page again, no changes since Yu's sudden removal (and she still has ABC7NY on her Instagram?), however I realized that they've never added Lindsay Tuchman for some unknown reason.

Yeah, it was very surprising. Her Instagram and LinkedIn still say she works for ABC7NY, so it must've happened within the past few days.

Saw him added into the group photo for the mornings on the 11pm news. I wonder who will be the permanent co-anchor for Weekends. Toni Yates appears to have a great rapport with Michelle. Also I just looked at the team page to see if they added Jaysha Patel yet, and was shocked to see Janice Yu is no longer there.

Yep they also updated the Mornings @ 10, removing everyone. I guess they couldn't just edit Mike out since unlike most of the images it wasn't put together and they had everyone actually in the photo at once. The 5pm was also changed. It is interesting that Pedro wasn't added to the Morning thumbnails. It's funny though, while nobody is going to view them full-resolution, Lee and Sade (and Ryan) are rather blurry compared to the newer photo for Mike.

Knew it was coming and I understand his reasoning, but I'll miss Bill and Sade working together. As of tonight, they've also updated the 11pm thumbnail with Mike:

Something I've been wondering, are they not allowed to show sports on the recorded streams? I found it odd that they replaced the coverage of the Knicks' loss at the start of the 11pm newscast with the usual sports scores. Granted every now and then full sports coverage slips in, usually the 6pm news if any, but generally speaking it's almost always replaced.

Ok, 14 minutes and 3 seconds of sports scores. I didn't go through the entire video to see if it changed after reaching 10 minutes. Still it shouldn't be that way.
