  1. Would be nice if they let Teresa Priolo anchor the broadcast, but since she became the subject of so many screwjobs at Fox 5 NY, I highly doubt it.
  2. Uh Oh. Weatherman Steve Raleigh faces backlash after road-rage incident (nypost.com)
  3. NBC had to move today's IndyCar race over to CNBC and Peacock because of today's Breaking News.
  4. Sam Rubin's cause of death has officially been declared as a heart attack. https://www.msn.com/en-us/health/other/ktla-reporter-sam-rubin-cause-of-death-revealed-after-being-rushed-to-hospital/ar-BB1pHmHA?ocid=msedgntp&pc=U531&cvid=acaa1e29567945f4be570da7372f25d6&ei=10
  5. Jamie Kellner, TV Exec Who Launched Fox and The WB, Dies at 77 (thewrap.com) This was the same man who also killed WCW back in 2001, leading to the sale of some of their assets to what is now WWE.

  6. I know this was posted via a reply in another thread, but I feel this bit of news deserves its own. IndyCar moves to Fox Sports in 2025 after 16 seasons with NBC. Fox now has Daytona 500 and Indy 500 (yahoo.com) This also means the Indy 500 will be the latest big event to be added to Fox's roster, as they have rights to the World Series, the Belmont Stakes, Super Bowls LIX, LXIII, LXVII, and the Daytona 500 to name a few.
  7. This is the cut they oughta be using instead. Go to 0:30.
  8. FSN Chicago was actually part of Cablevision. Fox owned a minority stake in the channel, but Cablevision bought out the channel in full in '05 after Fox backed out. A year later, the channel was no more.
  9. A major setback for Diamond Sports. https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/companies/comcast-losing-bally-sports-regional-networks/ar-AA1nXi0G?ocid=msedgntp&pc=U531&cvid=e402b85209e14d18a155b9fa28cf5dd2&ei=11
  10. Well, if Roundball Rock is not an option, they could bring back this theme from the dead. After all, if CTV in Canada could acquire 'The Hockey Theme', then NBC can acquire this one, even if it's just the licensing rights.
  11. We have another dispute going on. cordcuttersnews.com/spectrum-cable-tv-customers-could-lose-cbs-nickelodeon-and-other-paramount-channels-next-week/?amp=1&fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAR3V9GAfQaFMCb3MUIysodwfuwi8Zs5kUPHHk4kIFbURADgwbG-bGTCsox8_aem_Adkip6NUj011s7mH3dIF91gVH8ha-SAbMaoZcgjfdV-HwANiDhTHnaiuw3UtZu_q1R8dFNxpuLOCq_spfvRTZxyB
  12. I was always curious about this. An NBC, CBS, ABC, and FOX-owned station would call another O&O a sister station, a network affiliate would call a station owned by the same company a sister station, but why is it that a CBS, NBC, ABC, CW, or FOX station would call an affiliate owned by a different company or a network O&O a sister station? I've been wondering about this for years.
