Who used to anchor at 11?

Sheba Turk hasn’t been seen on the KCAL morning news in weeks. Three to be exact. Anyone have any info on where she is? The station still lists her as an anchor on its website.

I don’t understand the fascination with Kirk Hawkins. He’s a lightweight and can’t be taken seriously doing anchoring duties. He needs to go.

CBS LA hired a new weekend evening meteorologist this month. And now Olga Ospina’s bio is gone from the CBS LA Meet the Team page. Is she really gone? Please say it’s not true. I love Olga Ospina. The new met is Chloe Carlson who arrives from Fox 5 San Diego.

Don’t forget the newscast Women 2 women in the 1999-00s. That was awful.

Sophie Flay didn’t get the weekend evening anchor spot, but she did get the job at World News Now . I definitely didn’t see this coming, but with the big name recognition we shouldn’t be surprised. KCBS was already CBS LA. Looks like they’re dropping "KCAL News" and going with CBS LA for both stations.

Definitely a step down. No one is watching cnn anymore. On top of that, his show will air after midnight on the east coast. But I’m sure they threw a lot of money at him.

She still looks very young. Good for her. I don’t think they’ll replace her on the morning desk.

If these new billboards are any indication, it looks like Michelle Fisher is Ellen Leyva's replacement. I haven't seen any official word from ABC 7 though.

Does anyone. Know what happened to Bianca Rae? She joined KCAL in January 2024 from Spectrum News 1 SoCal, but she seems to have disappeared. Was she let go or did she quit?
