  1. What a soap opera this has become. Paramount has practically turned into a puppet. Its ownership is now so closely tied to the president that he reportedly asked the studio to revive an action franchise — one that originally belonged to another studio — under the direction of a filmmaker facing multiple sexual misconduct allegations: https://variety.com/2025/film/box-office/rush-hour-4-paramount-trump-1236591747/ Adding another twist, that same director is behind the upcoming Melania documentary set to release next month. Coincidence? You scratch my back, and I'll scratch yours. By dropping this 60 Minutes story, Paramount seems to be continuing its pattern of playing nice with the administration — especially as it positions itself to bid for Warner Bros—which you guys, they own CNN and HBO (Hello, John Oliver). It’s clear they want the White House on their side. The connections are becoming hard to ignore. How the rest of the media world reacts will be telling. Credit to Sharyn Alfonsi for having the courage to speak out.
  2. It totally makes sense now, it's been odd that they've been going about with GMA3 at the new studio without mentioning anything about Eva or Demarco. If you don't keep track of what's been reported on the New York Post, you think they were simply erased from the third hour altogether. My commentary on Demarco and Eva, they had tough shoes to fill replacing Amy and TJ, who had crazy electric chemistry, which made for good television. Looks like ABC News is going with a panel format for that hour (which is a much more flexible, safer alternative), or is just keeping the hour warm until they get a big talent to host the slot.
  3. I would rather have the surfboard desk wings (and a real surfboard on the wall) rather than the 20+ surfboard TV screens. Aww, I'll miss the old set: https://www.The Other Site.com/setstudio/kswb-2/
  4. Just only seen pics and vids on the socials, but this looks like a downgrade, this is coming from a guy who thought the last studio set was amazing and felt it was probably the best in San Diego.. The surfboard screens look so gimmicky. I, too, am concerned about anchors falling off their chairs from the back? Those chairs better have brakes. Fox5 also had a nice patio space area, I'm not really into KUSI's outdoor space. I was hoping that this set and KUSI's would be designed similarly to KTLA's and WPIX's.
