I am curious to learn more about some of the synths, virtual instruments, loops, etc used in the production of news/wx/sports/promo themes. I mainly produce music/sound fx for radio stations, but really have been considering creating some TV-related stuff. For those of you with more knowledge about samplers and keyboards. I'm wondering what type of synths/virtual tools, loops are used in some of the widely used packages? If I begin to create some stuff for TV I don't want to sound exactly like other composers but it never hurts to know what's being used out there. Thanks for any thoughts.
