TVNewsRI 4 Posted March 28, 2012 Share Posted March 28, 2012 I was watching KUSA's coverage of the Colorado wildfires today, and I was very impressed with their internet stream. It was full HD and was almost always totally clear - so much so that you could easily tell the HD studio shots and graphics apart from widescreen SD field reports. My HD tuner just about matches the quality. Why aren't more stations doing this? I've noticed that a few other Gannett stations (KSDK and WTSP) also stream their news. The Fox stations also seem to be doing it as well. So I assume the cost to do this has gone down over the years I still remember when the only one I could really watch a stream of was WSVN and their stream they have now is in HD too.
