SDR Rockfleet Brodacast Holdings has sold WFQX FOX33 and their satellite stations in the U.P to Cadillac Holdings for over 10 million dollars,BUT..here is where it gets a bit strange.. Cadilliac Holdings will NOT be runniing the station(s),instead they have entered into a "Joint Services Agreement" with Heritage Broadcasting, owners of the Northern michigan CBS Powerhouse WWTV/WWUP TV, which will assume control of the FOX Station. Which means that while WFQX is tops with FOX shows, their 10pm news has been a complete bomb, the newscast is somewhat a bit strange, while the news is done out of FOX33 Studios in Cadillac, their weather is taped at 6pm via Accu-Weather in PA. the last half of their 10PM news is a simulcast of the last half hour of WJBK detroit's FOX 2 NEWS. Speculation is that when the deal gets the blessing of the FCC, the FOX 33 NEWS AT TEN will be ended and replaced by a full hour news produced by WWTV/WWUP TV and be branded ...(Deep Breath) TV 9&10 NEWS AT TEN ON FOX33 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
