Just found this video on YouTube today: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ei_u5woD7GI

There's a WBBM 10PM news promo from 7:30-7:59 in the video that has an interesting WBBM signature cut. I honestly have no idea what package it's from or who composed it..

The signature sounds Gari-ish to me. Perhaps it was a promotional cut that wasn't put into the main package? PNP seemed to have a lot of them...

It does sounds very Gari-ish.. To me, sounds alot like something that would/should be mixed in with the NG1 cuts. You're probably right. Gari does have alot of random stuff that don't make their way into the released main packages that most stations receive.. WBBM's Enforcer package has alot more cuts (more specifically, main release CD 1) than what was put out to everyone else.

I didn't realize they were using the "Working for you" slogan back then.

On a side note, I've had the 2001-2002 "Works for You" music stuck in my head lately, particularly the closing theme. I think I'm one of the few people who actually liked that package.

I'm surprised that they used the slogan "Working for You" also (I didn't watch many of their newscasts back then and never noticed it). And you're not the only one that misses the "CBS 2 Works for You" music. It's one of my favorites (along with 'Newswire' (615 music), 'Streaming News' (Cue 11) and 'Pride' (which WBBM should have picked over 'Heart of the City').
