tyrannical bastard 4084 Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 http://www.onntv.com/content/stories/2012/07/25/story-onn-ceases-operations.html Over the past several years, they have cut back on newscasts and have resorted to filling time with non-news programming, and repeats of of their affiliated stations' newscasts from WEWS, WBNS, WKRC and WTVG. I would imagine that declining revenue and Time Warner burying the channel in its digital lineup for nearly all of its existence (since Time Warner is the dominant cable company in most major Ohio areas) led to the decision to close it down. I wonder why Dispatch never distributed it as a subchannel on WBNS or tried to get it carried on their affiliates' sub channels as well.
