I'm sure you have all heard about or saw on WABC's newscasts the story about the sudden passing of Ted Holtzclaw, operations manager for WABC-TV. He died just outside the station, on West 67th Street and Columbus Ave. Bill Evans rushed to perform CPR. Liz Cho was there watching. Those details are revealed in a column by Bill Ritter that gives a gripping and very sobering account of what Monday morning was like for the Eyewitness News team and how much Ted meant to Channel 7.

Saw the article on tvspy.com.. Liz Cho was screaming crying while reading the video on the air.. Absolutely terrible.. Thoughts and prayers go out to Ted's family and friends.

NEVER is it cool to see someone you know die. Even someone you hate. No one can despise someone that much. We may say we want to see someone dead, but only the sick actually like it.
