CANADA: Global Television Network to launch "The Morning Show" across the country

Global Television has just announced that its news division will be adding a 30-minute extension to Global Toronto's "The Morning Show". The 30-minute extension will be a national show, airing right after Global's local morning newscasts at 9am local time (10am on Global Maritimes).

 

The press release also states that Global Maritimes and Montreal will be launching their morning shows in January. All Global stations (except Lethbridge and CHBC Kelowna) air their own editions of "Morning News".

 

Global News is also promoting this extension as Canada's only national morning show on conventional TV, as CTV's Canada AM only airs on the eastern CTV(1) stations.
