10Viewer 334
Anybody catch the new music on WCMH? I only heard the end of the newscast, but it sounded like a new theme. WCMH also did a slight update to the L3's. Link to comment https://localnewstalk.net/topic/12408-wcmhmedia-general-changes/ Share on other sites
10Viewer 334
New theme, for sure. Gone is the old MG package. Can't really ID the new theme. Almost sounds Steven Arnold, but IDK. bhratbrat 437
Well WSLS in Roanoke went to a different theme at the end of 2010 to Breakthrough by FirstCom. AT least change is on the horizon. 10Viewer 334
It might be a custom package. I couldn't locate anything on SA's site and it sounds like their type of theme, kind of fast paced and symphonic. Ntropolis 596
Haven't heard it, but if it sounds like Arnold, it very well could be considering MG had a relationship with them in the late 90s up until the SESAC debacle... tyrannical bastard 3948
While it hasn't appeared on their airwaves yet, sister station WNCN has unveiled a new "WNCN" logo with a triangle inside the "C" (since Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill is ofter referred to as the Triangle) on their facebook page, with a look that strongly resembles KXAN's Giant Octopus graphics... Since WNCN is a "test tube" for Media General, it will be interesting to see where this heads.... 10Viewer 334
WFLA could really use a major refresh, too. They haven't updated since 2006 and they look so far behind their competitors. So much for being attentive! Link to comment https://localnewstalk.net/topic/12408-wcmhmedia-general-changes/#findComment-78643 Share on other sites
10Viewer 334
Some of the notes are similar to the old JDK package. But it's faster paced and upbeat.
