broadcastfan9751 140 Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 And, we have another retransmission consent dispute. DirecTV has begun informing viewers that they may lose the News-Press & Gazette Company's stations if a new agreement isn't reached by 9am on Wednesday, when their current contract expires.
broadcastfan9751 140 Posted October 10, 2013 Author Posted October 10, 2013 The stations have been pulled from DirecTV as of today. Mrtraveler01 738 Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 A new twist to this story: http://www.columbiatribune.com/news/local/fox-affiliate-back-on-directv-for-world-series-game/article_6d9207ca-3c3f-11e3-a1b4-0019bb30f31a.html It's worth noting that the Columbia, MO market is adjacent to the St. Louis market and has a strong Cardinals fanbase there. broadcastfan9751 140 Posted October 26, 2013 Author Posted October 26, 2013 NPG and DirecTV have reached an agreement to restore NPG's stations.
