Viper550 268 Posted December 20, 2013 Share Posted December 20, 2013 TSN (which is basically ESPN Canada de facto) has introduced its new SportsCentre set today. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10152267196141055.1073741833.178835736054&type=1 Among other things, they kept the admittedly awesome futuristic newsroom setting in the backdrop, and added a new secondary area off to the side. They also, unfortunately, kept the same desk and basic layout, but it does look a lot cooler. Additionally, SportsCentre has also started using the new TSN "red and white" graphics that they had been phasing in elsewhere. The intros are still, well, a sort of mashup of the most recent incarnations of the Troika SportsCenter package, but I presume they may switch to the new design after ESPN does. TSN did get Troika to make an awesome new look for their NHL show That's Hockey recently, and aside from the slow as molasses rollout of the new TSN graphics package, they've been doing some excellent graphics lately. Journalist 894 Posted December 20, 2013 Share Posted December 20, 2013 They finally have new L3's... THEY FINALLY HAVE NEW L3'S! Anyway, set looks great. Better than ESPN currently IMO. And I'm thinking that TSN might get it's own separate GFX package judging from the first photo in the gallery. Whoops, starting to speculate again.
