Samantha 2878
BIA/Kelsey has the numbers on how much the TV M&A market moved this year. No surprise: it moved a lot. Nearly 300 stations were sold, a 205% increase over 2012. (In other words, more than triple 2012's activity!) The valuation of all sold stations was even more staggering: 367% more year-over-year, for more than $8 billion.

CircleSeven 1945
Of course, not to mention Gannett/Belo's $2.2B deal, and the over-growing buying spree by the Heathens of Hunt Valley, which all those acquisitions totalled about $2B in 2013. And it also include stations that were bought by those "Spectrum Speculators" (including NRJ TV, Locus Point Networks & OTA Broadcasting).
