Webovision 202 Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 A big management shake up is happening at WTMJ. Yesterday the current News Director announced a rather hasty departure once the olympics are over. Earlier this year their GM, who was the also the "vice president of radio and television" was stripped of his TV responsibilities and left with only radio stuff. the PR announcement puts it in nicer terms. wonder what could be in store for them...
trev57 46 Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 Hopefully less sensationalized crap like "Speedbusters" and "Dirty Dining".
Breaking News 849 Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 Is WTMJ the most profitable station in the Journal chain? Oh yeah I forgot WTVF now a Journal station....
Leavellebrett 85 Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Hopefully less sensationalized crap like "Speedbusters" and "Dirty Dining". Dirty Dining segments are my guilty pleasure.
TVIntheDesert 185 Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 Is WTMJ the most profitable station in the Journal chain? Oh yeah I forgot WTVF now a Journal station.... WTVF does so well that Journal switched the national sales rep at the rest of their stations to the company which handles WTVF. Plus, they put the GM of WTVF in charge of the TV division.
Weeters 1981 Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 I just hope they upgrade Chopper 4 to HD.
trev57 46 Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Joe Poss has been named the new Vice President and General Manager of WTMJ. He was formerly the GM of WGBA/WACY in Green Bay. http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/entertainment/244795251.html
