When Gannett bought WATL, they clearly had Channel 36’s facility in mind because it offered much more space than WXIA-TV’s old building on Peachtree Street. In fact, WXIA eventually moved its operations into the One Monroe Place facility after the acquisition. is well-suited. NBC still has a strong presence at the One Monroe location, and honestly, I don’t see Nexstar Media Group leaving anytime soon. It’s a large, modern, and spacious building that makes sense for long-term operations.

Hearst & Graham IMO.

I agree with many of your points here, especially the last two—they’re right on target. As for Katy Tur, it might help to focus on improving her teleprompter delivery, as that doesn’t always come across as her strongest skill.

However, their agent will likely advise them to take the deal, ensuring their contracts include favorable exit clauses and additional safeguards. The bigger question is whether their ego will allow them to say no?

That was when it was WGNX during their Indy and early CBS days. There is probably someone in the newsroom who didn't know that, but very odd in the article.

Don't give Gray any more ideas now
-
This isn't my wishful storytelling- I was hoping for Gray to make a deal with Sinclair. Scripps, it's just a matter of time. Oh Cincinnati WCPO & WKRC- hmm. At this point, this whole TV thing on life support just pulled the damn cord already.

KCBS 2/KCAL 9 - CBS Los Angeles News Thread
Breaking News replied to Roadrunner's topic in Los Angeles News
I'm in the minority here. I didn't care for the KCAL branding on KCBS. CBS has owned KCBS longer, and their woes have been the many managers who have changed the station's direction over the years. What made KCAL different vs KCBS? For the longest, they were CBS2/KCAL9 under the CBS arm. I'm glad it's CBS LA, and with these combo stations in many markets. The bigger station seems to get chopped up over the secondary station that is merging with the bigger station. -
