WXGZ-TV 0 Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 WLUK in Green Bay finally got a new web site, it’s a My FOX webpage, I thought only FOX O&O have My FOX web sites? ??? http://www.myfoxnewisconsin.com/myfox/
Wisco TV Watcher 11 Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 Wow! This is so great. A MyFOX site in Green Bay - excellent! Now all four Green Bay news stations have great websites! http://www.wbay.com http://www.wfrv.com http://www.myfoxnewisconsin.com http://www.nbc26.com
milklikesubstance 11 Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 I would not be surprised if WALA were next...
Ntropolis 599 Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 I haven't heard MyFOXHamptonRoads being plugged on-air yet... Take a look at this: http://www.fox43tv.com
Chief-O 34 Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 I knew WLUK's site was in need of a redo, but this is most interesting. I've noticed the overall technical direction of the newscasts has gone south big time as well [since last night], which is making me wonder if new graphics and/or music are on the way.......
Ntropolis 599 Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 Didn't LIN's WUPW (FOX Toledo) get the O&O look not long ago? Could it be spreading to the other LIN FOXes?
newsie 11 Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 This is interesting. LIN must have had some sort of deal with Fox Interactive to make LIN's Fox sites like O&Os. I may be going out on a limb here, but remember LIN up for "sale", could this mean LIN might be selling their Fox stations to Fox?
newsie 11 Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 Notice at the bottom of the sites, it doesn't say copyright LIN, but copyright Fox.
Ntropolis 599 Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 Notice at the bottom of the sites, it doesn't say copyright LIN, but copyright Fox. It's still beta. It's probably not completely done yet. Take a look at the "FIRST ON FOX" page ... it's got nothing on it. The address even says GoodDay... tells me some things need to be changed since there is no "Good Day Hampton Roads."
newsie 11 Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 It definetly appears something is going on with LIN and Fox. I just wrote WVBT to see if I could find anything out.
who?cares 255 Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 I would not be surprised if WALA were next... When i was just typing around a while back i typed in http://www.myfoxmobile.com, and a MyFox Mobile came up, just tried it 20 seconds ago, and it didn't come up.
first on fox 18 Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 FOX ©'ed myfoxpittsburgh.com but it hasn't been updated since Dec of last year.
newsie 11 Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 I haven't heard MyFOXHamptonRoads being plugged on-air yet... Take a look at this: http://www.fox43tv.com When I type in fox43tv.com, I get this... "Authorization Required Access denied. Please click on the back button to return to the former page."
jestbiteme 13 Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 FOX ©'ed myfoxpittsburgh.com but it hasn't been updated since Dec of last year. © They registered the domain but never did anything with it? I wonder if perhaps there was/is a service they were to offer affiliates?
PelicanGuy 117 Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 I would not be surprised if WALA were next... What domain name do they choose? MyFoxAlabama is taken... MyFoxMobile? MyFoxTen? (would make most sense) MyFoxWALA? MyFoxGulfCoast?

tyrannical bastard 4033 Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 If LIN waa going to sell to FOX, FOX would have to divest stations or run them under some shell corporation, because they're over the ownership limit already. Plus, these stations are in markets much smaller than FOX owns...so if it can be pulled off, expect a station or two to be sold to satisfy requirements. I wonder if WVUE and KHON are a part of this....Emmis still owns WVUE and I heard Montecito was for sale as well.
mbhcity 3 Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 what if KTVU jumped in on this....myfoxbayarea or myktvu.
TheMightyGringoChannel 0 Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 Guys, it isnt just LIN Stations doing this. It looks like Sinclair's stations will be jumping on the myFox bandwagon as well. http://www.myfoxspringfield.com/myfox/ http://www.myfoxchampaign.com/myfox/ http://www.myfoxmaine.com/myfox/
watch 0 Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 They own and are not using the following... myfoxTucson.com myfoxSacramento.com myfoxSanAntonio.com myfoxLasVegas.com myfoxReno.com myfoxFresno.com myfoxPortland.com myfoxSeattle.com myfoxSpokane.com myfoxTwinFalls.com myfoxBakersfield.com myfoxEureka.com myfoxSanDiego.com myfoxYuma.com myfoxMonterey.com myfoxGrandJunction.com They don't own: myfoxBoise.com myfoxLubbock.com

I'd rather have that than Eyewitness News New Gen on every ABC affiliate across the country.
eyewitness_news 5 Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 I wouldn't be surprise if WTIC's website rebranded itself as myfoxconnecticut.com.
