extvtog 4 Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 WDRB just unveiled their sleek new set yesterday.
Samantha 2902 Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 I love Devlin's sets of late, but wow, do they all look the same or what?
tw-804 194 Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 What station is WDRB? Fox affiliate in Louisville, Kentucky.
MidwestTV 1244 Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 I love Devlin's sets of late, but wow, do they all look the same or what? Yeah it's basically KMGH's with a desk. Devlin does some nice stuff but a lot of it can look the same as if they were out of ideas for that particular station.
extvtog 4 Posted September 23, 2014 Author Posted September 23, 2014 It is interesting the WDRB does not use the FOX logo at all. I do like the new set. It is light years ahead of what they had and what others in the market currently have.
WXmanTim 88 Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 It is interesting the WDRB does not use the FOX logo at all. I do like the new set. It is light years ahead of what they had and what others in the market currently have. They dropped the Fox branding back in 2010ish when Block and Fox were at odds over the affiliation agreement. Fox eventually yanked the affiliation from Block's Boise station, but I believe the threat loomed that WDRB would be pulled too.
Weeters 1969 Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 I love Devlin's sets of late, but wow, do they all look the same or what? Devlin is a worse offender when it comes to "cookie cutter sets" than FX Group is. Devlin just has the ability to mix things up enough (i.e. colors and textures) that it's not as noticeable.
LexTVandRadio 418 Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 I like it. A sample someone put up: I have a feeling in near by Lexington, WLEX will be building a new set before too long. They will be turning 60 in 2015.
jbnews 345 Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 I was looking at the pictures... WOW! I wish the station I watch in Erie, PA (WJET-TV ABC) would get studio like this. Like thats EVER going to happen
