Viper550 291
http://www.theglobeandmail.com/report-on-business/bell-ousts-media-head-kevin-crull-over-journalistic-meddling/article23864190/ Yes, it makes sense in context. Basically, it seems like Kevin Crull really did not like the CRTC's decision to require television providers to offer a la carte options by March 2016 (Bell also owns satellite and U-Verse-esque IPTV services). So he allegedly forced CTV News to not show footage of the CRTC's head Jean-Pierre Blais whilst covering said story, and made them cancel an interview with him. Presumably, he didn't want Canadians to be exposed to any talking points/propaganda regarding pick-and-pay that was not created by a division of Bell Media.
