New Graham Forecast Graphics

WDIV (probably all the Graham stations either by now or soon) got a new 7 day forecast graphic. WDIV debuted theirs today. It looks a tad Scripps like although there are some differences... it's less flashy, less gold trimmed and uses yellow a yellow background where the highs are and a different font. It does use the same day colors as well as a very similar oval thing below the columns that looks kind of like a floor or base or something of some sort as the Scripps graphics. I wonder if this is because they were both done by Renderon? The title above the graphic where it says "Future 4cast" is unchanged.

WPLG 10 now has the same 7-day forecast graphics because they are still operated by Graham, even though they are owned by B.H. Media (the 2-year agreement is set to expire June 30th, 2016, after which B.H. Media will be on their own).

Scripps takes from WDIV, Graham takes from WXYZ.

That scenario actually popped up in an ad campaign today... We now have dueling "it's spring! Be ready!" Promos with no narrator.. Nice outside scenes... And clips of the weather staff doing their thing... At least it's competitive again for a change...
