abric 178
It seems that WSVN has started using new weather graphics over the weekend. The graphics are nothing to be excited about, but the colors are red, white and blue. But it looks like only the tags have been changed and they animate as well. You can see the new graphics at www1.wsvn.com/weather with their video. devswartz 2
I wonder if this is a sign of things to come for channel 7, considering that the station has used the same package since 2001. Don't get me wrong...their current graphics have aged very well, but for a tabloid-style station to keep a graphics package for some six years, it takes some of the edge off their image. By the way, if this is a sign of things to come, then their new package looks to be very underwhelming. Couldn't they have at least incorporated a look that includes that very cool-looking font from the old headers? By the way, what is the name of that font...the cool-looking one?
